    🌟 Celebrating Leadership Team Development 🌟 “Is there a quick fix to improve our leadership team dynamics?” As a leadership consultant, I've often seen leadership teams searching for quick fixes to improve their team dynamics. However, this leadership team stood out by taking ownership and had the willingness to embark on a team development journey. They allowed me to coach them both as a collective and on an individual level for nearly a year. I've been privileged to witness their growth firsthand. The results speak for themselves: heightened levels of psychological safety, a renewed focus on collaborative behaviors, a profound sense of belonging. Together with the high-performance standards they set themselves they evolved into a high performing team that got better at decision making and collaboration. Throughout this journey, I've employed various tools to cultivate trust and manage conflict effectively. From team check-ins and establishing team alliances to conducting the lifeline exercise, every tool has contributed to building vulnerability-based trust. To deal with conflicts, I encouraged them to use radical candor and identifying their team toxins and their antidotes. Reflecting on this journey with the leadership team has been incredibly rewarding. I tried to contribute by creating a space where team members feel safe to be their authentic selves—it's the foundation for meaningful trust building. A massive shout-out to the entire leadership team for their dedication, and special thanks to Nils Kappeyne, who recognized the importance of nurturing relationships at work and openly discussing emotions within the team. And to Ronald De Boer who has prioritized the team development of this leadership team. #LeadershipTeamDevelopment #PsychologicalSafety #HighPerformingTeams

    The human connections in the site Leadership Team of #ShellEnergyandChemicalsParkRotterdam are impressive. Leading this site in the energy transition is a challenge. It involves courage, decisiveness but above all #teamwork.I witnessed a strong willingness to listen and learn from each other in this team. Their interactions showed that vulnerability was welcome. It created an atmosphere of #psychologicalsafety that improved the trust within the team. This leadership team clearly grown their #teamintelligence, the “we-ness” in just two-days, with still so much potential to tap into.It was an honor facilitating these days. Thank you, Pauline Buitink and Jiska Vriens for the trust in our collaboration. We developed an agenda with a strong #teamdevelopment focus, a wise investment to improve your site leadership.Our Shell material on #LearnerMindset was super useful.
