Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Shoup had lived in Des Moines all her life before moving to Altoona two years ago.

She was a homemaker and had worked at the lowa State Fair from 1919 to 1993, first assisting with the original roller coaster and then as a cotton candy vendor. She was a member of Grant Park Christian Church. She is survived by three sons, Robert McClaskey, Phillip McClaskey, and Newell Shoup all of Des Moines; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Wilson had lived in Guthrie Center all his life. He had been a farmer and enjoyed pitching horseshoes and playing cards. Burial, with military rites, will be at the church cemetery. Mr. Smith was born in Frederic and had lived in Albia many years. He had worked for Deere Co. in Ottumwa before retiring and was an Army veteran of World War II.
